Overview:
The Carefree Connects mobile app provides wireless control of your 12V Carefree awning through Carefree's new Wireless Awning Control System. With the Carefree Connects Wireless Awning Control System by Carefree of Colorado, you can conveniently manage your awning using the Carefree Mobile app on your preferred smart device. Say goodbye to manually opening or closing the awning and adjusting LED lighting brightness from the comfort of your seat. Moreover, customize the sensitivity of your awning's Motion Sensor for added security during harsh weather conditions.

Pairing with the Carefree Connects BT12 Wireless Awning Control Module:
Pairing your Carefree Mobile app with the hardware is a straightforward process. Once the Control Module and Motion Sensor (if opted for) are installed on your awning, pairing with your smart device is a breeze. Simply utilize the awning power switch and extend/retract button to activate pairing mode, and your device will recognize your awning for pairing.

Extension, Retraction, Stopping & Bumping:
The Carefree Connects Mobile app permits you to effortlessly extend, retract, and halt your awning in real-time. Additionally, it offers buttons to finely adjust the awning in or out for precise alignment with accessories like LED lighting, SunBlockers, or Rooms. No more need to go back into your RV to control the awning; now it can be controlled from anywhere around your RV using your smartphone or tablet!

Controlling Your LED Lighting:
The Carefree Connects Mobile app grants you full control over your solid-colored LED lighting (not compatible with RGB LED lighting). You can instantly switch on, turn off, and regulate the brightness of your awning’s LEDs directly from your smart device.

Motion Sensor Sensitivity Adjustments:
An essential feature of the Carefree Connects Wireless Awning Control System is the optional BT Motion Sensor. This sensor detects motion caused by wind or inclement weather and prompts immediate retraction of the awning upon sustained motion detection. The app notifies you if the awning motion sensor is triggered and that it has retracted to safeguard against adverse conditions.

In the settings section of the Carefree Connects Mobile app, you can adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor with a range from 1 to 5, where 1 is less sensitive (needs more sustained motion to close) and 5 is more sensitive (requires less sustained motion to close). This feature enables optimal customization of the motion sensor for different campsites and prevailing weather conditions, ensuring proper closure when necessary and safe open operation during lighter winds or rain.

Advanced Settings:
When the BT Motion sensor is active, details of the connected module will be displayed in a table within the settings of the Carefree Connects Mobile app. In case of sensor loss or battery depletion, the app sends a notification alerting that the motion sensor is disconnected. Additionally, the settings tab shows whether the ignition lock is enabled or disabled along with details regarding the app version and firmware status.
